This time lapse was shot over eight days. Watch as a ballroom at Aria is transformed into a corporate theater called “The Round.” Load in was three days, rehearsal and show is three days, then the load out in two days. Produced by JGS Group for LVCVA.

808 was recently chosen to create the pilot episode for a new project, “Esteban and You” starring the world-renown classical guitarist, Esteban. In the show, Esteban travels the U.S. searching for the best venues and the unknown yet remarkable talent of musicians everywhere in every genre of music. Some of the most common questions asked every day are simple: “What’s for dinner?” “What’s for lunch?” “What’s for breakfast?” For thousands in southern Nevada the answer is the same. Nothing.
Combating hunger by providing much needed food to over 70,000 people per month, the Three Square Food Bank is tackling a most urgent need in our community. 808 Post is proud to have helped in this cause by creating a Telly Award-winning promotional spot for the organization which has already helped fill the Three Square food coffers and the stomachs of adults, seniors and children across the valley.

In the category of Fund Raising, 808 received a Silver Telly for its work on “Dish with Rick Moonen” and a Bronze Telly for “Three Simple Questions” for Three Square. The company also brought home another Bronze Telly for the “Celebrity Eclipse” opening video in the category of Travel & Tourism.

GoPro Hero 3D Camera Systems
808 Post now features the GoPro Camera, touted as the absolute best HD camera for sports (and who knows what else?). These small yet incredibly powerful wearable cameras catch views that were before impossible with larger systems. The video quality is unmatched and the versatility has allowed 808 to mount the camera on airplane wings for stunning footage. We are testing multiple mounting solutions and now shooting 3D.
Editor Ups His Game!
808 Post Editor Ryan Springmeyer recently honed his already formidable skills by participating in an AVID Advanced Class and an After Effects Advanced Course held in conjunction with the recent NAB Convention here in Las Vegas.
Born and raised a Nevadan, Ryan graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003 with a degree in Liberal Arts. After graduating, Ryan moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in the trade school Video Symphony where he completed the editing post production program. After working with such notable clients as the Boeing Company, Warner Bros., Sky One, Music Saves Lives, CMEG Entertainment and Mindshare, Ryan moved his family back home to Nevada in 2008 where freelancing brought him to 808 Post and Production. His time with 808 has seen him edit national and international spots and work with a diversity of projects and clients.

American Country Awards call us to “Cowboy Up”
The first ever American Country Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Monday, December 6th.
“The two-hour primetime special is the only country music awards show that gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories but also in previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors that no other awards show has.”
808 played host to Outlaw Laboratories who produced the opening short film for the American Country Awards.
