The opening video was shot for the first time with a Canon 7D and again edited on-board using Avid Media Composer. With video DSLR shooting quickly becoming a viable alternative, we felt it was important to add this ground-breaking workflow to our knowledge base.

Teaming with JGS Productions, we wrote, assisted with production and then edited this incredible marketing video for Las Vegas’ World Market Center that went viral throughout the furniture and accessories industry.  And why not?  We pulled in some of the most iconic Las Vegas talent – every one from Mayor Oscar Goodman to Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton – to show the world just how special and important attending the Vegas Market can be.

More than just glitz and glamour, 808 Post and Production easily ventures into the more classical arts often, like when we were recently tagged to create from the ground up the pilot episode for the new “Esteban and You,” starring the world-renown classical guitarist, Estaban.  As the master travels the country searching for undiscovered new talents, we follow with our cameras as he ventures into even imaginable genre of music coming from the most amazing parts of our cities.

“What’s for dinner?” “What’s for lunch?” “What’s for breakfast?”

Know what the answer is for thousands in Southern Nevada.  “Nothing.”

808 Post and Production had to get involved and did so by helping to create a Telly Award-winning promotional spot for the Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas.  And the spot worked!  We helped fill the shelves of the Three Square pantries and the stomachs of adults, seniors and especially children all across our valley.

This is the kind of work that pays the best – the smiles of children.  There is no better payday.

Born and raised a Nevadan, Ryan graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003 with a degree in Liberal Arts. After graduating, Ryan moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in the trade school Video Symphony where he completed the editing post production program.  After working with such notable clients as the Boeing Company, Warner Bros., Sky One, Music Saves Lives, CMEG Entertainment and Mindshare, Ryan moved his family back home to Nevada in 2008 where freelancing brought him to 808 Post and Production.  His time with 808 has seen him edit national and international spots and work with a diversity of projects and clients.

808 played host to Outlaw Laboratories who produced the opening short film for the American Country Awards.

You might think that to create a video for Chippendales Male Revue at The Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada, all you have to do is hit “record.”  Not quite.  It took careful planning, pacing and ingenuity to sculpt a 30 second spot that matched the energy, the fun and the heat of this extraordinary show.

City Center is more than a resort, it’s an entire community with several architecturally distinct and unique buildings.  Here is our homage to one of our favorites, Vdara, the all-suite, non-gaming, smoke-free alternative to Las Vegas as usual.

Through our continuing relationship with HKM Productions, we enjoyed working closely on yet another Skechers spots, this one for their revolutionary new Shape-Ups for work.  Producing such quality material takes a lot of work.  Wearing Skechers’ Shape-Ups at the same time is really a fantastic workout!

Poker programs are all over the television dial these days, yet we were determined not to be left out.  Luckily, we teamed up with the production company for “Rock and Roll Celebrity Poker” and from then on we were dealt only aces.  It was a lot of fun, a lot of work, and a lot of eduction on when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em.
